 HONOR SOCIETY OF NURSING

Benefits of Joining the Honor Society

  • Full members who have finished their credits by one month before their pinning will receive an NCLEX style review held by our faculty advisor at the end of the program, and reimbursement towards your first ACLS ($151), PALS ($151), NALS ($151), or BLS ($35.50) certification. You also have the option to receive partial/full reimbursement for one of the certificates mentioned above or on any NCLEX prep material that we can verify like Simple Nursing ($149) or UWorld ($139) upon graduation.

  • Active members will also receive honors cords to be worn during graduation and are recognized during the Nursing Pinning Ceremony.

*Courses must be taken through the American Heart Association (AHA). *Reimbursement amount dependent on funds raised by each cohort.

Applying for Membership

All current nursing students are eligible to become members of the Honor Society.

Steps to Join:

    1. -Pay the Bursar $80 Cash or Check

    2. Take a picture of your receipt for upload.

    3. Fill out the registration form for the Honor Society here:

Maintaining Active Membership

Honor Society Candidate Requirement:

  • 2 community credits

  • 2 fundraising credits

Leadership Development Credit can be obtained through ONE of these options:

  1.  Fulfill ALL of the credit requirements for another organization (SNA, CCESNA, AAPINA-RUSNA). You need to send proof of completed credits. Membership certificates without proof of completed credits are not accepted.

  2.  Be a mentor to another cohort.

  3.  Join an executive board at Roseman University (Class officer, SNA officer, CCESNA officer, AAPINA-RUSNA officer).

  4.  Join a committee at Roseman University (class fundraising or banquet committee, student representatives).

  5.  10 additional hours of community service outside of the Honor Society.

  6.  8 additional community credits within the Honor Society of Nursing.
